This class is set up for 3 options- If you just want basic pistol training, but no live fire range time or chcl license to carry, you sign up for option one.
OPTION ONE
That part of the class will be from 9am to 1pm
From 9am to 1pm you will be in a classroom with inert plastic pistols learning all of the basics, proper grip, trigger control, stance, sight alignment, sight picture, and gun safety handling rules.
You will learn the mechanics of a gun, the parts, their functions, how to load a magazine, loading the gun, working the slide, clearing the gun, how to handle gun malfunctions, ammunition malfunctions, and how to correct your own marksmanship issues.
BRING YOUR LUNCH! There will be a refrigerator on sight for your food and drinks.
We will provide bottled water on location.
OPTION 2: 9am-5pm
You get all of the training above PLUS, all of the fun stuff in option 3 (below) plus one on one time with Jan or one of her certified female instructors on the live fire range.
You will also get instruction on decision making in a crisis, threat assessment, when to pull a gun, when not to pull a gun, verbal engagement versus flight, shoot or not shoot.
We will also cover holster options for women (there are so many options these days!)

We will provide you with a .22 caliber gun and ammunition to fire your first rounds with.
If you bring your own gun, we will work with you with your gun to make sure you are handling it comfortably. We can also make some recommendations for you on the best guns to fit your hand and budget.
If you want an Arkansas concealed carry license, you can earn one by signing up for option two .
You will receive a copy of Arkansas Law so you have a clear understanding of justification for use of force as well as where you can and can not carry in this state with that permit.
In the range, you will have a certified instructor with you the entire time you are handling a gun to ensure your safety and that you are utilizing all of the things you learned in class.
Option 3- 11am-1pm- This section of the class is always a favorite part of the day for most ladies! We will cover:
*the newest ways to carry, holster options for women, (including a fun mini holster style show)
*how to establish a safe draw technique.
*the most popular guns with women
* how to choose the right gun for you
*decision making in a crisis (making the right choices)
