March 10th , When I saw the post go down the newsfeed at 10 o'clock at night, 10 puppies dumped in a swamp in southwest Arkansas, I knew I had to make sure they were rescued.
Where they were reportedly located, it was a four hour drive for us roundtrip, which would put us there around midnight, hence the reason this was dubbed "The Midnight Rescue"......
A couple from Texarkana located them and helped us get them loaded in our vehicle.

We are not a rescue or shelter. My husband and I simply knew we could not leave them in a swamp to be eaten by predators or to freeze and starve to death.

The next day, we discovered all area rescues and shelters were full. We had no option but to buckle down and do what we needed to do to quickly set up and indoor and outdoor area for these puppies to heal and prepare for adoption ...

We had to purchase kennel panels, a tarp to protect them from the sun, dog houses, training pads, wormer, dog food, dog beds for indoors, ... the lists are endless.

We began to get donations to help us get started which was very helpful
The pups went for their first round of shots. That went smoothly..
I began taking individual photos of them, in preparation of posting them to begin finding them homes...
Then their second round of shots... and disaster..

Six of the puppies got very sick and had to be on subcutaneous IV meds, several had to be hospitalized for several days..  Three different local veterinary clinics had to be utilized in order to treat all of them and save their lives..

Now they are all recovering and hopefully ready to be put up for adoption after their last round of shots.

The vet bills and other bills surrounding feeding and caring for 10 puppies has been enormous. We are also hoping to raise enough money to cover spaying and neutering for each puppy so their new owners have no excuse to avoid getting this done and contribute to the over population of dogs in America .

We would appreciate any help you can give..
Thanks again for your support !
